Utilization of Conference
Updated the status of the Municipality’s governance on the 12th of July 2010 and was completed during the same date.
Formulation of Executive-Legislative Agenda (ELA) 2010-2013
A workshop on formulating the ELA was conducted on the 20th to the 21st of July, 2010. The ELA was approved and adopted by the Municipal Council.
Organization and Strengthening of the Municipal Disaster Coordinating Council (MPDCC)
The new composition of the Council was finalized and convened on the14th of July, 2010.
Barangay Capacity Building
Activities under this Program are the distribution of: (1) 16 computers and printer sets (one unit each barangay); (2) 16 photocopying machines (one unit each barangay); (3) 20 monoblock chairs each barangay; (4) one Multicab vehicle each barangay; and (5) five poso each barangay.
Wastong Kaalaman sa Kalusugan
The main objectives of this Program are to (1) increase awareness about reproductive health; (2) reduce the incidence of infectious disease for elementary students by 10%; and (3) reduce malnutrition among children by 10%.
Lectures to students and parents from different elementary and high schools in Pagsanjan were given lectures regarding health issues and de-worming sessions were done. A total of 1,762 student and parents were given lectures while 540 elementary students benefitted from the de-worming sessions.
Knock-Out Sakit
Free MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella immunization), AH1N1 and flu vaccinations were given to 250 children, 500 senior citizens, and 113 Municipal employees. All three activities were done and completed on the 26th of July, 27th of August, and 7th of September 2010, respectively.
Kariton ng Kabuhayan
Ten ambulant vendors were given food carts on the 4th of October 2010. This was done to increase the beneficiaries’ income by 20%.
Kalusugan Mo, Sagot Ko
Free medical and dental check-up services were delivered by the Chinese General Hospital to 800 patients at Pagsanjan Plaza on the 25th of July 2010. Also, all 113 municipal employees and the members of the Municipal Council were given free hospitalization benefits. Accident benefits, on the other hand, were given to all municipal and barangay officials, Senior Citizen’s officers, municipal volunteers and employees. Tubal ligation was discontinued because of the Governor’s directive to promote natural family planning.
Aside from the abovementioned activities, free medical and other municipal services were given to the barangays remote from the municipal areas. Those services include: (1) free medical consultation and medicines; (2) free x-ray; (3) free laboratory test; (4) free dental services; (5) free haircut; (6) free feeding to daycare children; (7) free rabies vaccination; (8) municipal civil registration activity; and (9) affordable housing service. Beneficiary barangays were Cabanbanan, Anibong, Dingin, and Magdapio.
Masaganang Ani sa Pagsanjan
There were three activities under this program. One is the distribution of vegetable seeds to be planted on the yards of 100 families with the purpose of ensuring that they would have something to harvest for added income and sustenance. This was completed on the 31st of July 2010.
Second activity in this program is the utilization of a vacant lot with a total land area of 20,000 square meters. This was done and completed on the 6th of August 2010.
And lastly, the municipality distributed 500 tissue-cultured Lakatan seedlings to 10 farmers. Using tissue-cultured Lakatan fruits earlier and enables the farmers to increase yield. This was completed on the 7th of July 2010.
Kalinisan Ating Panagutan
This program was aimed to increase awareness to pressing environmental issues and concerns and the participation of the community towards efforts to take care of the environment. A total of 1,779 students, parents and Pagsanjan barangay chairmen were given lectures regarding cleanliness and animal rabies. Also, information materials were distributed to the 16 barangays.
Cavans of rice and 3,000 pesos were also given to the 1,151 families of volunteers and water lily gatherers, respectively.
